How to get the most out of B2B Hub for retailers?

 

B2B Hub is a free service for retailers to find products and services from hundreds of suppliers. It is simple, quick and easy.

The best way to use B2B Hub is to make a free retailer profile. You do not need a profile to make a request but it definitely helps. With a retailer profile you can keep track of your request, make multiple requests and receive special offers and discounts on products and services that are only applicable to your business. You can also view past interaction with suppliers in case you need to contact them again

Below are the easy steps to using B2B Hub to find products and services in an efficient and profitable manner

  1. Sign-up as a retailer to make multiple requests and keep track of all of them

  2. There are two ways to find products and services on B2B Hub. You can either use the search function or simply make a request. The search function is great when you are not sure of exactly what you want. Here you can search thousands of products from hundreds of suppliers to see what is on the market. If you don’t want to waste time searching you can instead simply make a request.

  3. Simply click the ‘Request a quote’ button located in your profile bar or in the top right hand corner of the screen

  4. Fill out the request form to give potential suppliers more information about your needs and wants. Are you looking for a particular brand? Do you want this product at a particular price range? Or do you just want to see what suppliers are offering? You can fill your request form with any information you want. Your business details will be automatically loaded into the request form if you are logged in. This will save you having to constantly type your address or email etc.

  5. Sit back and relax! B2B Hub will notify 3 suppliers of your request. These suppliers will be competing for your business so you know that you are receiving the best possible quote. You will be notified via email when a supplier has accepted your request.

  6. The supplier or suppliers (maximum 3) that accept your request will contact you in the manner you chose in the request form (Email/Phone/Meeting). This suppliers information will become available in the ‘Current Requests’ section of your profile.

  7. If you reach an agreement with the supplier, you can accept his offer from the ‘Current Requests’ section. Don’t worry, if the supplier doesn’t deliver you are still able to decline that accepted offer.

  8. If you are not happy with the offer from the supplier you can decline his offer at any time. If you decline all offers from suppliers, B2B Hub will then send your request to another 3 suppliers. Only suppliers that can service your request will accept and make a offer.

  9. So you finally accepted an offer from a supplier! Great! That supplier will complete the request after they have delivered to you. The offer will now be in the ‘Past Requests’ section of your profile. Here you can ‘Confirm completion’ of the request and then rate your experience with the supplier. You can also view all your past request including supplier information.

  10. The rating system is an important aspect of B2B Hub. Highly rated suppliers (4 stars and above) indicate they have had positive interactions with other retailers which means they are most likely to have a positive experience with you! Please ensure you are fair in your ratings. You can also choose to provide written feedback.
